About us

Slashprog Technologies is a FOSS technology consultancy and training company co-founded by Mr. Chandrashekar Babu and Mrs. Poornima Rajarajan in the year 2010.

Slashprog Technologies was formed as a platform to serve the purpose of creating highly skilled technical resources in the field of Free Software/Open Source Software domain that cater to wide-spread requirements of the IT infrastructure in various industrial segments. As a part of this initiative, we have been regularly conducting training programs and workshops on multiple open source technology stacks that include – Linux administration, Linux kernel development, programming in Python, Ruby, PHP, Bash shell, Go, Perl, Clojure, and many more.

We also deliver corporate training programs Free/Open Source Software to many top-tier organizations regularly. Our training programs have had a reputation for being detailed and in-depth and have helped attendees apply their learning almost immediately at work.

As a startup endeavor back in 2010, we initially experimented with various ideas to promote our vision of catalyzing and accelerating the adoption of best software technologies/resources to our clients while ensuring and emphasizing software freedom. We have also groomed academic freshers in their careers on FOSS technology domain of interest while inculcating good programming practices and software development paradigms and methodologies – thus bridging the gap between academic knowledge and the current trends and requirements amongst industries. Most of these activities helped us position ourselves as a more socially responsible organization. However, most of our revenues were from corporate training assignments.

In the year 2020, we have begun to explore online training programs that cater to a broader audience willing to learn concepts in detail while fortifying the fundamentals. The world today is getting closer and connected where thoughts and perceptions travel at the speed of the internet; we believe in using this opportunity to groom more minds toward engineering better tomorrow.
